  • A5s network camera chip uses ARM11 528MHz processor, HD H.264 and MJPEG video encoding engine, and integrates a powerful image processing unit.A5s network camera chip has multi-channel video encoder supporting up to 14MP pixel video encoding, and advanced MCTF 3D noise reduction technology and wide dynamic processing capabilities supporting up to four channels of video streaming (including two channels of video streaming up to 1080p30+800x600p30).

    45 nanometer chip technology and rich I/O equipment, which reduce the eBOM of A5s to a minimum, make the products suitable for diversified form, for example,  the automatic focus of the gun type camera, micro ball and pocket wireless camera. A5s network camera solution is the software development-kit based on Linux system, providing a rich variety of ARM layer API to meet the different needs and performance optimization.

S2L Series

  • S2L network camera processing chip is highly integrated based on ARM® Cortex™-A9 CPU, which is as overall solution of network camera chip scale. The built-in image sensor processing unit (ISP) of S2L can correct the lens distortion video, and support HDR function and 3D noise reduction function, making the network camera suitable for more demanding light environment. The built-in H.264 encoder of S2L supports smart AVC low-bit stream processor, with Meijia VDO’s independent video compression algorithm, it can output high-quality and low-stream 1080p video stream (in the full frame rate of 1080P@30fps, the bit stream can be as low as 1 M bits/s), and supports up to 3MP/30 frame per second.

    S2L series chip solutions provide differentiated Linux platform network camera development SDK toolkit to suit the manufacturers to develop network camera products of different needs, and the R & D manufacturers customers can have free choice of the same size image sensors, fixed or variable lenses, intelligent analysis, cloud storage and so on.

  • S2 network camera chip is the flagship of the Ambarella’s network camera solutions. Ambarella’s S2 network camera processor uses professional 4K Ultra HD H.264 encoding engine, advanced image processing technology, and it also uses dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor as well as multi-function I/O peripherals to simplify system design.

    As a S2 chip with 32 nm low-power technology, it not only supports improving the MCTF with advanced sharpening capabilities, but also has the functions of high dynamic illumination rendering processing, ultra-wide angle correction, image stabilization and video analysis.

    With the development platform of open dual-core processor and powerful embedded Linux system, it fully reflects its Flexible characteristics for the developers in various fields, such as custom image processing and video content analysis.
